I don’t know what was in that hookah, but it was this fruity goodness flavor which made my mouth water. I got a good hold on making those smoke circles and that kept me entertained along with playing cards with the guys.

This hookah smoked forever. We were in there for 2 hours and this hookah kept on smoking. It was like a train going on and on across the country on one tank of fuel. I really didn’t mind the bad service at this point because the hookah was amazing.

Another great day to smoke and I was picking up my girlfriend from the airport which is an hour away from me so I decided to grab a cigar to share with her on the way back. The luck cigar was Series R.

The cigar looks purely amazing. 6 x 60 makes this cigar, especially with the maduro wrapper, look full of life. That’s exactly what the cigar was, full.

The lighting of this cigar was awful. It was smoking on one side without the other side catching on fire at all. I guess it was packed really loosely on one side and that caused the uneven burn.

However, this burn did not mean that even though you couldn’t smoke the whole cigar you wouldn’t be satisfied. I was very satisfied even before we got to the first third and my girlfriend decided to smoke it some more.

I had to pull over to the side of the road to relight this cigar on one side because it was smoking that uneven, but that did not work, I only wasted butane on that cigar without getting any effects from it.

My buddy gave me this cigar because his dad owns the company, nice guy really. I’ve seen other cigars from this series smoke really well and all tasted very full to me.

I haven’t been smoking much and a full cigar is not my friend. I just don’t enjoy it that much.

If you life full cigars that smoke forever and then some, don’t hesitate. At least this wasn’t as bad as the Acid cigar that I got one time which was amazing looking and smelling.

This cigar has been sitting in my humidor since last summer and I’ve kept these cigars in perfect 70/70 condition ever since I bought it at Iwan Ries in Chicago.

The cigar has a nice wrapper, and because of that by girlfriend chose that cigar over Olivia O. I think she just went for the Canarias name, but that’s between her and the cigar.

The cigar smoked well from the start. The taste in the beginning was very spicy, but not overwhelming. I was enjoying the weather and good company so this cigar only improved that. I mean, how many guys can say that they share a cigar with their girlfriend. I guess some guys really wouldn’t even want to share that kind of thing, but hell, I share everything with her.

After about a third the cigar started to settle into a woody flavor and it started to smoke a bit slower. Good even smoke and no need to relight it.

Even though the taste changed it wasn’t overwhelming, and it was satisfying. We smoked it 2/3 of the way down and decided to throw away the last 2 inches. I guess we were both satisfied with this smoke.

My girlfriend to put on the emphasis on the spices and when she licked it in the beginning, she got a nice hit from those spices.

Final judgment, the cigar was just enjoyable and wasn’t anything that overwhelmed me. I haven’t been smoking much so this was a good way of maybe getting back into it.

My girlfriend and I have been having some issues and this was the cigar that we were smoking together while we were talking. We were stargazing on her campus with the new green laser that I bought. So we talked, I spoke with her dad on the phone for a while and I decided to put the cigar out. We maybe got half and inch in, but the cigar was just not smoking at all plus it was freezing outside.

So the state of Virginia is really starting to piss me off. You can’t smoke anywhere here and well, it is too cold to smoke outside. This is really starting to get annoying, but there is nothing I can do about that. I can’t even smoke in my dorm, but that’s probably a good idea since most of the people here smoke cigarettes and well, those stink.

So the presmoke was not bad. Lots of flavor and I knew that there would be lots of spices to follow. This cigar was a box press, and well, I never smoke those, so it was a nice change to the usual smoking patterns.

The first few smokes were good and well, the conversation that I had was bad so that did not help at all.

I put the cigar out and smoked it a few days later.

When I started to smoke I could really taste the ashes, but as soon as that burned off, the flavor was great. I was sitting outside reading an article while my laundry was going. It was rather a breezy day and the cigar seemed to constantly need a relighting. What surprised me was the very light colored ash. I normally see gray ash, but this was pure white. I don’t mind, the cigar flavor was nice.

Jitters. Yes, jitters took over me after this cigar. I have never been this jittery from a cigar. I couldn’t hold anything in my hand and well, it was just awful. I went to eat something, but nothing could solve this. I couldn’t sleep, I couldn’t concentrate, but somehow it went away after a few hours. Today I got La Aroma Cubana Series R so I’m probably going be getting to that soon.

Class regent was a treat. Because of the high price it is not an everyday smoke, but if you really like something the price doesn’t matter. Enjoy.

Yes, F-, it’s awful. Okay, story with this cigar. I am visiting my girlfriend at her college and well, it’s the weekend so I decided to bring a cigar for us to enjoy. During the week she came over and we decided that the perfect cigar for this week would be the Gurkha Royal Brigade. I guess it is good thing that we are getting all the bad cigars out of the way. This cigar had a very strong and very spicy smell to it and I could only image how good this was going to be after being blown away by Gurkha Symphony.

Let’s just get this review over with because this cigar left a CIGARETTE taste in my mouth.

So first looking at the cigar, you can tell this is going to be over interesting smoke, at least it looks like this. Well constructed, good color, heavy, well packed and just perfect. Presmoke was intersting because you could taste the spices. As soon as I lit up, lit it with matches this time around, and well, I felt like I was smoking a big cigarette. I gave it to my girlfriend to taste, she said it was different. Yeah, very different from a premium cigar that actually tastes well.

We didn’t get too far into this cigar because I cannot smoke a cigarette. I have this awful taste in my mouth and I’m about to go wash my teeth and drink a big cup of coffee just to get this taste out of my mouth. When I smell my hands I’m disgusted too because I can smell cigarette on my hands.

Honestly, if you like cigarettes and want a really large cigarette one day, there you go, buy a Gurkha Royal Brigade. This cigar is going on my no no list. Enjoy.

So once again I felt like going on a little drive and I just needed an everyday smoke. I have had a Paso Doble before and I already knew I could finish one of these in this hour drive.

So I think this cigar is not really something that’s made the same way constantly. They seem to taste slightly different every time, but that’s okay, they are pretty good.

So the pre smoke is relatively good. The cigar is very loosely packed and it is not hard to get air flowing through it at all. I was just sitting in the parking lot and getting my stuff in the car. I really was not in a hurry at all so this really gave me time to think about the cigar. These cigars are really vainy on the outside with a light wrapper.

It was not very breezy outside so I just sat in my car, opened the door and did this the old way: matches. Had to use two because I didn’t think that one did the trick, but I could have been wrong, better to light it then do it while I’m driving. The cigar itself was a little on the dryer side because my roommate can’t figure out how to keep cigar at the right humidity. The cigar lit up nicely and I got on my way.

I think the cigar smoked a little fast, but I also think that’s because the cigar was so loosely backed. I, for some reason, will smoke these cigar perfectly well when I drive. What I mean is that the cigar will smoke evenly, the ash will be long and it will not get how at all.

So nearing the end the ash fell off in my car. The cigar was down to the last two inches. I had only one thought in my mind; the leaf is different in this part of the cigar. I think I’m right because the flavor changed an I needed to throw the cigar out because it got way too hot. I tried to cool it down, but that did not work at all, the cigar just got bitter on me and that was the end of the Paso Doble.

These cigars are an everyday smoker’s dream because they do have flavor, loads of smoke and they will please a regular smoker. Flavor is on the medium side, but at least it tastes like a cigar not a cigarette. Enjoy.

Once again another cigar from Chase. The cigar smelled great and it seemed like it would be just perfect. Little misdirection there. Yes, it is a good cigar, but after smoking so much I’m starting to learn what also makes a good cigar not just the semi good taste. The wrapper started to unwrap right away and it was just awful. This really ruined the cigar for me, that’s it.

Grade: A

This cigar is something special. I got these in a big sampler and I’ve decided to smoke them in order from least expensive to most expensive. So this is the first one. Once again, I smoked this with my girlfriend and well, no need to say more, but this cigar gave off so much smoke, so much taste, it was overwhelmingly awesome in both flavor, size, shape and everything else in between. I really like Gurkha as it is, but this cigar was just so much better then most cigars I’ve tasted ever.

So the cigar itself was built amazingly well, smelled great and had this really deceiving light wrapper. The cigar is light, but there is just so much flavor. The smoke was really dark and absolutely great. This cigar was just amazing and I will keep this on the list of cigars that I will definitely smoke this in the near future because something like this is well worth the money.

So this was the first cigar that I smoked with my girlfriend. She has never smoked anything before and well, I have to say this was a good choice. The way that I got my hand on this cigar, since I’m in college and I don’t want to spend a lot of money, was taking a cheaper cigar from the humidor that my roommate has and exchanging this cigar for the Montecristo. Yes, I know what you’re thinking, this is absolutely messed up that the kid would do this trade, but I like that he traded me.

So this cigar was very very smooth and it had a great hint of all around flavor. Very woody and just very smooth. Now I know why people always say that these cigars are really good. I agree, this cigars are really good and absolutely worth the money.

So I finally got to college and I have not been smoking for a while. My roommate Chase got around to buying some cigars and a nice little humidor so I finally got back to smoking.

Chase got these cigars in a few different sizes and the one I liked the most was not the lonsdale but the torpedo. He got them in some sort of sampler and I just calculated the price from that. The smoke is nothing special but it does fit an everyday smoke which is not too strong but also satisfying enough to keep me happy.

If you’re looking for something cheap that is better made then the Arturo Fuente Curlyhead, this is it.
